Scope of Work

Banson NYC provides college students from around the country with “real-life” tour experience of the fashion industry in New York City that complements the learning curriculum in the classroom.

I deliver an interactive “Professional Etiquette” seminar to kick-off each one-week tour. The goal is to help students identify ways to set themselves apart when they enter the workforce. Topics covered include the importance of networking, tips for successful interviewing, elements to consider for making a good first impression, and small ways to have a big impact and stand out among colleagues and management.

Students report utilizing these learnings throughout their week in New York as they meet with designers, showroom leads, and marketers. They also report incorporating this content into their job searches as they navigate the early stages of their careers, post-graduation.

“Aimee has been teaching 1-hour professional etiquette seminars for the past four years. I am most impressed with how she engages the students and keeps the conversation interactive. She makes each student feel important and comfortable sharing their thoughts.I know that they are walking away much more prepared and confident entering the workforce.”
